Star Global is a global technology consultancy working across multiple industries, including healthcare and life sciences, where it supports organisations in developing digital products and services. This case study focuses specifically on our work within the healthcare and life sciences sector. When we began working together, the business had strong expertise across its service areas, but this was not being clearly reflected across its social media presence. Content was being shared on LinkedIn, yet it lacked structure, and the message did not consistently communicate the depth of knowledge within healthcare and life sciences. While the capability was well established, it was not being translated into a narrative that made the brand's relevance immediately clear to healthcare innovators, clinical leaders, and decision-makers.
The challenge was to communicate complex technical expertise in a way that felt clear, relevant, and credible within the healthcare and life sciences space. Star Global needed to strengthen its position within this sector, while ensuring that its content reflected a real understanding of industry challenges, including innovation in HealthTech, digital transformation, and patient-focused solutions. Without a clear structure or consistent messaging, content struggled to maintain engagement or reinforce the company's authority within the space.
The starting point was to bring greater focus to how the company's healthcare and life sciences expertise was communicated. Rather than producing broad content, the strategy centred on sector-specific insight, ensuring that each piece of content spoke directly to the realities of the healthcare environment. This allowed the message to feel more relevant and grounded, while also making it easier for the audience to recognise the company's role within the space. Thought leadership became an important part of the work, supported by content from industry experts who could speak directly from experience. This helped move the content beyond a purely corporate voice and into something that felt more informed, visible, and credible on LinkedIn. Alongside this, content was aligned with key healthcare events, research launches, and industry conversations, ensuring that the brand remained present within relevant moments rather than communicating in isolation.
We refined how Star Global communicated its expertise within healthcare and life sciences so the value of its work was easier to understand and more relevant to the audience it wanted to reach.
We developed a clearer content structure for LinkedIn, centred on healthcare innovation, MedTech, digital health, and patient-focused transformation, so the brand's message felt more focused and consistent.
We supported industry experts in producing their own content on LinkedIn, helping turn specialist knowledge into content that could build trust, visibility, and credibility within the sector.
We created a practical framework to help industry experts show up more consistently on LinkedIn, with clearer guidance on content themes, tone, and how to communicate their expertise in a way that felt relevant to healthcare audiences.
We produced content around healthcare events, research reports, and thought leadership initiatives, helping the brand show up around the moments and conversations that mattered most.
We introduced a more joined-up approach so that company content and expert-led content worked together, creating a stronger and more recognisable presence within healthcare and life sciences.
As the content became more focused on healthcare and life sciences, the way the brand was perceived on LinkedIn began to reflect a clearer and more defined sense of expertise. By centring the message on sector-specific insight and supporting industry experts to contribute their own content on LinkedIn, the brand developed a stronger presence within the healthcare conversation. Content became more relevant to the audience it was intended for, which led to more consistent visibility and stronger engagement over time. The alignment with healthcare events, research, and thought leadership also helped position the brand more clearly within its space, creating a presence that felt informed and established rather than broad or general. Over the course of the year, LinkedIn impressions exceeded 287,000, with more than 1,300 new followers added, representing steady audience growth. Engagement averaged around 2%, with peaks between 3% and 4%, while click-through rates reached approximately 15%, indicating stronger interest in the content and its relevance to the audience.
This work showed that when a business operates across multiple sectors, clarity comes from deciding where to focus and who should help carry the message. By concentrating on healthcare and life sciences, and by making more space for industry experts to communicate directly on LinkedIn, the brand was able to show its expertise in a way that felt more relevant and more credible to the audience it wanted to reach.

If your business spans multiple sectors but needs sharper focus within healthcare and life sciences, we can help you shape a presence that feels relevant, credible, and built around the people you want to reach.
